Validate an external MCP server agent tool

Validates an external MCP server configured as an agent tool by probing the server and returning its tool names. Supply the server URL, protocol, tool name, and authentication configuration in the request. Outbound requests use SSRF filtering, and failures return a generic error to prevent network reconnaissance.

Error handling

The projectId path parameter must contain exactly 21 alphanumeric characters. The request must include type set to MCP, a toolName of at least one character, a URI-formatted serverUrl, a protocol of sse, streamable-http, or http, and a valid auth configuration.
