Submit a message to a conversation

Submits a message to a conversation belonging to the authenticated user. Include content and, optionally, up to 10 files with an accepted MIME type; each file requires a name, MIME type, and data.

  • IdempotentThe SDK sends Idempotency-Key, so a retried request is only applied once.

Optional file attachments. Include no more than 10 files; each file must have a name of 1 to 255 characters, an accepted MIME type, and data of no more than 13,981,014 characters.

Error handling

content is required and must not exceed 51,200 characters. Each file must include name, mimeType, and data; name must be 1 to 255 characters, data must not exceed 13,981,014 characters, and mimeType must be one of the listed image, text, or application types. The id path parameter must identify the conversation to receive the message.
